1. Where does Confucian and Mencius philosophy stand on the issues of humanities?

2. What are the major differences and similarities between Daoism and Confucianism? Give references to both texts.

3.  Discuss the issue of impartial (and universal) love in Mozi and Daoism. How does contemporary conflict (i. e. social, political, military, and economic) relate to this question?

4. Compare and contrast the meaning and implication of water in The Art of War, the DaodeJing, and Zhuangzi.
